gape Family Ministries is licensed by the State of Florida Department of Children and Families to provide substance abuse and mental health services to adults and children. Here are some facts about the Agape
Family Ministries.

Agape Family Ministries as the highest success rate for
non-recidivism in the State of Florida, according to the
Department of Corrections publications.
- The Agape Family Ministries is the only
gender specific programs of its kind in South Dade exclusively
serving women.
- Agape is unique in its therapeutic model which is Christian
oriented and offers clients the powerful opportunity to
enhance their recovery program with spiritually rejuvenating
activities that strengthen long term sobriety.
- Agape works collaboratively with a network of churches
in the community that lend an unlimited amount of resources
to the population we serve.
- Agape's aftercare facilities provide open-ended therapeutic
services and support to clients who have completed the residential
component and desire to productively and independently continue
their recovery without returning to high risk environments.
- Agape's services far exceed the minimum requirements mandated
by the state for treatment programs offering on-site high
school completion education, GED prep, day care, music therapy
and self defence classes.
- Agape staff includes two PHD's, two LMHC's (licensed metal
health counselors), ten Master degree level counselors,
seven state certified teachers as well as numerous Bachelor
degree level staff.
- Over 95% of Agape's employees live in Goulds and the surrounding
communities.
- Agape offers internships to graduate level students in
social work and counseling.
- Agape is one of, if not the largest, single employer in
the Goulds, Naranja, Princeton area.
- Treatment programs last from 6 months to 1 year.
- Agape has the capacity to serve pregnant women and women
with children age 5 and under.
- Agape Women's Center holds two graduations per year with
30-40 women participating as graduates at each ceremony,
with the ceremonies held at local churches.
- Agape Family Ministries is currently
contracted with the following to provide services:
- Miami-Dade County Homeless Trust
- HOPWA (Housing Opportunities for People with AIDS)
- Department of Children and Families Services
- Department of Corrections
